Some pictures...

Waiting in the lounge to see Avatar in 3D to begin. Awesome. And of course I had to wear those 3D glasses before entering into the movie hall.

And we found the local Hard Rock Cafe of course! Those scary looking guards are really everywhere! Some are even with (shot)guns.

Human transportation.

Last weekend we rented a minivan (suitable for two families) with a driver and headed to Mysore, the old capital of our state, Karnataka. It's located 140 km = 3 hours southwest from Bangalore. We had just read from the newspaper that the city was ranked in the USA fourth in the Top places to see in the world. It was quite a nice place to visit, but we are still wondering about the ranking... The next pictures are from the trip.

We also took a boat trip. Just as scared as always in a water full of crocodiles and who knows what. They were just everywhere: in the water, on the small islands, on the rocks, EVERYWHERE. :/

Here's our boat and the first (and last until now) man that I have ever tipped. I was so grateful that he didn't let the crocodiles eat me.

I think everyone knows my orientation skills. I proved them right once again: I went in the wrong direction in that tiny miny labyrinth... :P

After all those crocodiles (and birds) we all deserved an ice-cream, njam.

the Palace of Mysore

I almost got expatriated for this picture, so just enjoy it even if it is a little bit dark. We didn't get time to take another one, the shouting man was already running towards us.

Us in a riksha. The trip from our hotel to the palace cost only 20 rupees (0,30€)! I'm still so furious that in Bangalore for half of the ride we took this day in Mysore, we paid 12,5 times more!! If I see the Bangalore's driver again, I will let him know what I'm made of.

We got to eat in the jungle, and Toni was so excited!! hehheh

A little bit dirty. It's like this almost everywhere in India.

The fourth biggest holy bull in India. There was a ceremony going on as we went to see it. This time we did not participate.

No parking, but the (holy) cows are allowed, right?

This one was big and graceful.

A GIANT squirrel. And cute also.

My favorite animal. This one just came, sat here, put his hands on his stomach and started looking at us visitors. I just love gorillas, ugh.

He fell a few times before succeeding, that little Tarzan! hih.

We don't know why he was without fur... :( Maybe some particular species?

He got hot I think.

As always, the attraction of the Indians: "Hello", "What's your name?", "Where are you from?", "Can I take a picture...?" And I had to pose for all of their cameras, my smiling face got stuck, auch. Also Toni got his part of being an attraction...

Toni tasting coconut juice for the first time, it was just okay, he said. Same for the fruit that the man cut for us to eat after we (mostly I) drank it empty.
